Our campers allow you to be free and independent from campsites, but for those of you who prefer to plan your stops in advance, we’ve made some recommendations below. We always suggest booking ahead; especially in the summer months.
A landscaped campsite, with outstanding panoramic sea views. It’s nestled between the villages of Mortehoe, Lee and Woolacombe, and is close to the town of Ilfracombe. An ideal location for all those looking to be caravanning and camping in Devon.
The camp site is right on the South West Coast Path, making it an ideal holiday location for exploring the cliff paths, nearby beaches and the quaint fishing village of Looe with its hideaway streets, harbour, fish quay, beach and cafés offering delicious cream teas. Further along the coast path is the village of Polperro, with its wide choice of restaurants and taverns, smugglers’ cottages and harbour. In the other direction the path leads past the Monkey Sanctuary towards the villages of Seaton and Downderry.
From our site it is approximately a 300-metre walk to Gwithian Beach, with its famous three miles of golden sands stretching all the way into Hayle. Never crowded, the beach is excellent for bathing and surfing, while younger children can enjoy paddling in the rock pools.
